Chain Back Earrings

February 27, 2014

Second and third piercings are as back on trend as shoulder pads and classic kicks; and the petite-punk look of a delicate chain is their ultimate adornment. Local NYC fav Catbird inspired this week’s dangling DIY…so join the club and craft your own cute ear gear!

To create: Use wire cutters to cut a 1 inch long piece of chain. Connect a jump ring to one end of the chain with pliers, then use another jump ring to attach an earring post back to the opposite end. Slip earring post through jump ring, then slip through your earhole and fasten. P.S.- if you have additional piercings, connect two together  for a real DIY chain creation.
