Vegging out never looked so fresh! Inspired by gardens everywhere, these perfect crudités pots are the perfect additional to any Spring or Summer party! Using creative ways to display and serve food is always the best way to go. Guests love it, and of course they will think you are a genius! Don’t worry, we will let you take all the credit.
What you will need to make your own Veggie Pots:
Your Choice of seasonal fresh veggies
Loaf of dark colored bread
First step is to cut the sliced bread into small squares.
Once the bread is chopped, gather the cubes and drop them into the blender- we LOVE our Vitamix until the cubes become the texture of soil.
Next, cut off a large piece of wax paper to fit into the pot. You can also use a coffee filter too. Place the liner into the pot and pour the breadcrumbs directly into the pot.
Where’re your veggies at? It’s time to get creative with your greens! We started by lining the inside of our pot with carrots making sure to leave space for other veggies, like celery, peppers, broccoli, asparagus, and lettuce.
Keep layering those veggies!
Don’t forget to keep room for the smaller veggies like radishes!
Sprinkle some extra breadcrumbs after the veggies are in place to give the pot a more earthy feel on top.
