WHITE CHOCOLATE BUNNY BARK

April 17, 2019

It’s everybunny’s favorite time of the year to break out the pastels and hop into the kitchen for some creative treats for Easter!

With so much on our plates and little time for elaborate projects, this easy (and very yummy) DIY treat is the perfect addition to any Easter celebration. We are partnering with our go-to resource of all things creative, Michaels, where you can find all of your Easter essentials for DIY projects both in and out of the kitchen.

PS- The best part about this project is that it only takes a total of 20 minutes to make.

What you will need to make Bunny Bark:

Bunny Decorating Kit

White chocolate

Light pink candy melts

Sprinkle mix

Mini flower decorations

Silicone baking mat + spatula

Your favorite pastel candies

First step is to melt the chocolate. Be sure to follow the instructions on the package carefully so you do not burn the wafers. You can either use a microwave or a double boiler for this process.

Once the chocolate is melted, spread onto a silicone-baking mat (wax paper also works) with a spatula.

Be sure to smooth out the surface and keep the thickness even throughout the process.

The next step is optional, but it does provide some fun extra dimension and contrast. Drizzle another color candy melt onto the white chocolate base. You can let it have a drizzle effect or you can swirl it with a toothpick for a different look.

Now, it’s the fun part! While the chocolate is still warm and soft, be sure to move quickly so it doesn’t harden.

Carefully place the candy bunny ears, eyes, and nose onto the chocolate base. If for some reason your chocolate has already set, you may need to warm it up quickly in the microwave (50% heat) or very low temp in oven.

After the bunny faces are complete, its time to add some extra flair with chocolate candies and sprinkles! Go crazy, or just add a hint- it’s totally up to you. After your bark is finished. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes to set completely.

When the bark has set, place it on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to break it into edible size pieces. Be sure to keep the bunny faces together.

This is the ultimate sweet treat that everyone will love to nibble on at your brunch or Easter celebration.

Get creative and put your own spin on the colors and candies too!

PS- Hoppy Easter!
